Scar camouflage and MCA needling

MCA (multi-Trepannic Collagen Actuation) is used to smooth wrinkles, stretch mark fillings, scar remodelling and skin re-pigmentation. A gentle, controlled trauma is caused to the skin's surface to encourage re-healing in an area of scarring, wrinkles, burns or stretchmarks.

The objective of this treatment is to bring plasma fluid to the area which contains our bodies own melanin to re-pigment the area with our own skin colouring whilst relaxing scar tissue. Many methods of this type of treatment are being practiced in clinic and surgeries. Some commonly known as Derma roller or Derma stamp.

Success of the treament ranges hugely from client to client, depending on many factors such as age of scar, area of scar, colour of scar, skin type and aftercare.

  • Do not expose to direct sunlight until day 7 (inluding sun beds)
  • Keep area dry.
  • Do not pick or pull the treated area and keep clean
  • No swimming, hot tubs, hot baths, sauna for 7 days.
